Stella Savy and Los Locos

Stella Savy’s singular blend of funk, soul, reggae and ska is unlike any other performer in Australia. Her original music is influenced by her Seychelle Island heritage- the sounds of the islands fused with reggae and ska guitar rhythms.

She has a music school, Cocosounds in Ballarat that offers a range of tuition for individuals and groups and operates around the globe, with cultural tours on offer and Skype tuition. Stella has been a professional musician for over 20 years.

A multi-instrumentalist, Stella is a renowned percussionist and vocalist. As well Stella is one of Australia’s leading contemporary choral conductors, leading groups such as Sweet Mona’s Choir and the Boite Melbourne Millennium Chorus. Stella facilitates workshops for groups that are engaging, challenging, thought provoking and fun.
